ANGLICAN NEWS , Our one Parish service, set down for Monday May 8rh, will be followed by an extremely important Parish Meeting. Now here are the details: SUNDAY. MAY 8th 1988: ROGATION SUNPAY (One Parish Service for Ruapehu Parish and Wainuiarua Maori Sub-District) 10.00am ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, OHAKUNE. A SPECIAL PARISH MEETING in the church will discuss the following matters and following options: 1 . Should church times remain the same as now, i.e. 9.30am Raetihi - 11.00am Ohakune every Sunday? 2. Should there be one Parish service every Sunday, at 10.30am, alternating weekly between OHAKUNE & RAETIHI? 3. Should there be one PARISH SERVICE every Sunday, at Raetihi only? That service to be at 10.00 10.30am followed weekly by Moming Tea, Fellowship, Bible Study and Sunday School? Permanent decisions will be made regarding these matters on that Sunday. If you as an Anglican, want your say, then BE THERE! There will also be a presentation to Mr Basil Ward on behalf of Ruapehu Parish for his more than 35 years service as Parish Treasurer, Vestryman, Synodsman & Parish Nominator. Following the moming service and Parish meeting, Janet and Chris Dunn have invited all of us to moming tea at their place, 66 Shannon St, Ohakune.
