| (1)GQME3HQ:(01) Private self contained homes, restricted to the use of electric power by commonly accepted domestic orientated appliances. Domestic thermal storage water heaters of 9 litres capacity and over shall be fitted with elements of not more than 1500 watts for cylinders up to 182 litres and 2000 watts for cylinders in excess of 182 litres. Domestic thermal waterheating installations shall comply with NZS 4603 and the waterheating cylinders shall comply with the requirement of NZS 4602. The supply of electricity to Domestic waterheating installations and spa pool heating elements shall, at the discretion of the Board, be restricted to off peak times as determined from time to time by the Board's General Manager. (1.1) General: Supply Charge $12.00 per month or part thereof plus $1.14 per kilowatt of connected uncontrolled instantaneous waterheating load per month. First 300 units per month at 5.50 cents per unit. All units in excess of 300 per month at 4.50 cents per unit. (1.2) Centrelled Storaqe Space Heating: (02) For domestic installations approved by the Board as suitable for controlled supply, switched on at low load periods as determined from time to time by the Board's General Manager. All units at 3.25 cents per unit. (21 NON DOMESTIC: (2.1) iaSQfital: (05) For installations not shown elsewhere in this schedule, e.g. business premises, chartered clubs, club living accommodation, lodges, staff living accommodation, motels, offices, boarding houses, workshops, schools, halls, clubrooms, farms, construction sites etc, including an aggregate installed motor capacity not exceeeding 50 kilowatts. Supply Charge $12.00 per month or part thereof plus $1.14 per kilowatt of connected uncontrolled instantaneous waterheating load in excess of 8 kilowatts per month. All units 10.27 cents per unit. (2.2) cpntrpiied Supply: (06) For installations approved by the Board as suitable for controlled supply switched on at low load periods as determined from time to time by the Board's General Manager. (2.3) Industrial A: (07) & (08) Applies to industrial installations having an aggregate installed motor capacity in* excess of 50 kilowatts. $7.32 per calendar month per kilovoltampere of maximum demand registered in any 15 minutes during the five months from 1 May to 30 September each year with a minimum charge for each year or part thereof equal to $60.00 per kilovoltampere for the highest registered demand during the five months, plus

$6.60 per calendar month per kilovoltampere of maximum demand registered in any 15 minutes during the three months from 1 June to 31 August each year with a minimum charge equal to $55.00 per kilovoltampere for the highest demand registered during the three months, plus All units at 6.00 cents per kilowatthour. (2.4) industrial B: Installations with connected load in excess of 1000 kilowatts. $7.32 per calendar month per kilovoltampere of maximum demand registered in any 15 minutes during the five months from 1 May to 30 September of each year with a minimum charge for each year or part thereof equal to $60.00 per kilovoltampere for the highest registered demand during the five months, plus $6.60 per calendar month per kilovoltampere of maximum demand registered in any 15 minutes during the three months from 1 June to 31 August each year with a minimum charge equal to $55.00 per kilovoltampere for the highest demand registered during the three months, plus 6.30 cents per kilowatthour used between the hours of 0700 and 2300, plus 3.10 cents per kilowatthour used between the hours 2300 and 0700. (2.5) Hospitals: (09) For all public hospital purposes metered through one meter. Supply charge $12.00 per month All units at $10.27 per unit. (2.6) Waterheating: (10) For cowshed and non domestic waterheaters for over 90 litres capacity and supply to be controlled as required by the Board to off peak times as determined from time to time by the Board's General Manager. All units at 4.48 cents per unit. Minimum Charge $9.88 per month. (2.7) Electric Welderg: All consumers using electric welders must comply with the Board's requirements for the use of such equipment and will be charged at rate (2.1) Non domestic General rate. (2.8) MoMntgin Installations: Applies to all installations situated in excess of 1300 metres above sea level. Tariff rate that would be applicable to the installation if located less than 1300 metres above sea level as prescHbed in this schedule of tariffs and charges, all plus 15 per cent. (3) SPECIAL RATES: The Board reserves the right to apply special rates in cases of extraordinary supply in regard to electrical loading, conditions, tocation etc. (41 PUBLIC STREETUQHTINQ: The Board installs and maintains the whole installation on exisiting poles.
