ANGLICAN NEWS Those who worshipped in the Parish churches at Easter joined in enthusiastic worship indeed, with all three churches full, almost to capacity. One Raetihi parishioner observed that he had never before seen such a full gathering of folk present in St. Mary's for Sunday worship. The following Sunday, April 10th was the date of the Aimual Parish Meeting, which took place after the morning Eucharist. At that meeting, the Vicar presented a number of recommendations for parishioners to consider, all of which he requested be forwarded to the incoming Vestry. A number of these, if approved by the vestry will make some drastic changes in the present operation of the parish. Elected to office were the following: Vestry Parsons: Janet Dunn, Carole Harford, Maureen Harvey, Betty Kurukaanga, Gerald Olds, Peggy Beck. The newly elected Vestry will meet sometime during the next fortnight, when it will select its Secretary and Treasurer. Services Sunday are as follows: SUNDAY, APRIL 24, 1988: 3rd Sunday After Easter RAETIHI (St. Mary's) 9.30am Holy Eucharist. OHAKUNE (St. John's) 11.00am Holy Eucharist. Seeyou then. Bob Peck VICAR.
