Visitors' kiosk
The siting of a visitor information kiosk proposed by Ruapehu South Business Association was discussed at the final meeting of the Raetihi Borough Council on March 21. A number of sites were discussed including the corner of Ward and Queen streets, near ihe Raetihi Hotel,
and outside the swimming baths. The council decided it was not happy with the sites chosen by the association but recommended the kiosks be erected near the memorial baths or at the picnic spot North of Raetihi.
