Skyhawks flying to Fair

Up to five skyhawks will conduct an air-to-ground attack on Patterson Field. Intelligence states that this will be the gathering ground for the whole Waimarino community on that day. Pilots are to twist, turn, pull and push their aircrafts through a series of attack rolls, turns, climbs and dives. It is intended that such actions will leave the large crowd gasping in amazement. No, the Waimarino has not become an enemy state subject to attack. Desert Fair 88 will have, as a highlight in the days proceedings, a mock skyhawk attack by the Royal N e w Zealand Air Force. Previous events which have had such a demonstration form the Air Force, have been resounding successes and it is anticipated that Desert Fair 88 will be another one of those success stories. The Air Force will be further represented at Desert Fair 88 by an Iroquois Helicopter and a recruiting stall.
