Basketball results Shearing competition results

Basketball has been back in full swing now for four weeks. The first week saw Elite Macs (32) and Unique (49) as match of the week, the second week was between Elite Tees (36) and Tigers (39). The third match of the week was between Staff (3,5) and Elite Tees (38) Summer League Basketball s last night will be on Monday March 7. There will be a presentations evening on Friday March 11 at the Ohakune Club. Winter League first night will be Thursday April 7 and registrations are now available at the gymn on Monday and Thursday nights.

Results Monday: Staff 43, Unique 39, Elite Macs (won by default), Elite Juniors 25, Light Shades 49. Thursday: Elite Juniors (won by default), Elite Macs 49, Tigers 33, Elite Tees 38, Staff 34, ■ Dunkers 42, Unique 52. Referee's Rule Art 77. "Technical Foul b y Player". A player shall not disregard admonitions by officials or use , unsportsmanlike tactics, such as: (a) disrespectfully addressing or contacting an official, (b) using language or gestures likely to give offence. All players are asked to take note of the above ruling and please
