The parish of Ruapehu will once again host a mission with the Anglican C h u r c h Army, the third mission is a planned series of three over two years and will be held March 18-27. Captain Peter Allfrey of the Anglican Church Army and the Parish Missions Officer for Church Army in N Z says of this mission: "It is a teaching mission. It will be like a beautiful smorgasbord. "Entree is a seminar on your personal gift from God that you can use in the congregation and community. "Also a seminar on the tasty gifts from 1 Corinthians 12 and how to operate them. These gifts are largely misunderstood. We hope to correct misunderstanding. "Appetisers - each day , people can taste of the Lord in the daily Eucharist and feed on the fruit of the Spirit as taught in Galatians 5. "Love is the key ingredient in the Christian community. It is the oil that keeps people functioning healthily. "Main course - each day for three days there will be video home meetings where the love message will be shown. Missioners will be present. "Services each night will emphasis joyful
and contemporary singing, good teaching and the power of God at work. "Dessert - people will be able to enjoy each other's company at a family evening and also at a final Palm Sunday Eucharist at Raetihi on Sunday 27 March.
