Following are the advantages of appointing an insurance broker: Insurance brokers are an extension of the client and will negotiate with all insurance companies to obtain the maximum benefit for the client, and generally assist in all matters concerning insurance such as claim settlements.
No charge is made to the client for this service, as remuneration is obtained by way of brokerage from the insurance company with whom the insurances are placed. Brokerage rates are uniformly set by the insurance companies, and thus n o preferential rates influence the placing of business with any particular company.
