At Iast Thursdav's full council meeting Mayor Bill Taylor expressed surprise at the New Zealand Railways and KRTA Ltd decision to "investigate the implications of the conditions" set out by council in approving their proposed Ohakune Mountain Housing development. "The conditions council imposed are those that they (the developers) put forward for the application to proceed," said Mayor Taylor. "Is it the first move towards dropping the development?" asked Mr Taylor.
