Apology to John Martin
The Bulletin apologises to District Council candidate Mr John Martin for leaving his name off the list o f candidates published when nominations closed. Mr Martin was in Australia at the time. After 12 months off the Waimarino County Council as a result of illness, he says he is now fully recovered and fighting fit. A county councillor for 22 years representing the Karioi riding, he was deputy county chairman for nine years and chairman of the w o r k s committee for 12 years. Mr Martin is one of the five mayoral candidates.
