Waimarino pride

Who does Harvey Bell think he is coming to town and thinking that he can change the name of our district? What a pity that the name Waimarino does not fit in with his plans for advertising. Let him go and ring his bell somewhere else. We are proud of our district as it is, name and all. It is the local people who made this area so why should we let the likes of Mr Bell wander in and expect us to fall into his plans. No way! Mr Bell's reward of dinner for two at the Chateau shows how gullible he thinks we all are. A fantastic prize so he can throw our name out the window. Come on locals fight for our identity. Waimarino-ite and Proud of it
