Ruapehu College cricketers on top

Ruapehu College had a comfortable seven wicket victory over Navy on Saturday 30 January. Navy batted first and from their 45 overs scored 173.6. Top scorers for Navy were Grace (50 not out) and Randall (33). The next best score was Wides (25). Best bowler for College was E. Perrett (3.17). Ruapehu College cruised to their target, for the loss of three wickets and in only 23 overs W. Marsh relished the bowling to finish 99 not out, including 8 sixes and 7 fours. Ruapehu College continued on their winning way in club cricket on Saturday 13 February with an easy 92 run victory over Bulls. The Bulls batsmen had no answer to some very good bowling by College and were dismissed in the 21st over for 50 runs. Only one batsmen was able to reach double figures. D. McDonnell (4.15) and E.
