Bulletin changes hands
The Waimarino Bulletin has a new owner. Former Auckland and Tauranga publisher John Woods, 35, has taken over from John Sandford, who started the newspaper four and a half years ago. Mr Woods and his family will be shifting to live permanently in Ohakune over the next few weeks. Next week the Bulletin will publish an in-depth article about Mr Woods and his background in business and other fields. Like Mr Sandford, who was raised in Raetihi, Mr Woods is no stranger to the district. He was born in Taihape and raised in Waiouru where his parents were in business for almost 20 years. In the meantime the Bulletin is looking for a temporary home for Mr Woods
and his wife and four children. Because they plan to build a home at the end of the year, their preference is for a furnished or unfurnished home preferably in Ohakune. Any response to this request can be directed to John Woods or Robert Milne at the Bulletin office phone 58-532 of 58681.
