Health secretary farewelled

At their recent meeting the Waimarino Community Health Watch Committee members farewelled their secretary of one year, Rosalind Donald, who left for Auckland last week. Chairman Jenny Dekker commended Miss Donald on her work and dedication to the committee.

Also discussed at the meeting was a survey which will be conducted early in 1988 to gauge the public's interest in having a mobile blood bank visit Ohakune. The Wanganui Blood Bank has stated that at least 100 people must be willing to donate blood before the organisation will visit the area.
