This week-Waiouru

The Magic Mushroom Lisa, Clare and me were walking through the forest. It was the thickest part of the forest now ... just at that moment Clare tripped over a mushroom. The mushroom was red with pink polkadots, it had antennas with purple things on the end and a smiley face with blurple eyes. Poor Clare landed in a mud puddle. Lisa and I helped her out. "I'm sorry" "What was that?" I said. Lisa was scared stiff. "It was me" said the funny voice. We looked up, nothing there. We looked down, there looking up at us was a sweet innocent face. Jody Ghosts and Goblins Once upon a time in the peaceful kingdom of wizards there was a young warrior, his name was William Hardwood. He had a small band of thieves, fighters and a wizard. Nearly every family had a son or daughter who was a wizard or fighter. One day as William's band was practising, the chief wizard told William that the spell book of weapons had been

stolen. "By who" said William. "We think it was the creatures from ghosts and goblins land". "When do we start our mission?" "Tomorrow, but first you will have to get some new weapons and spells". The next day they were all set to go - J a s o n , fighter; Matthew, fighter; Shane, thief; William, fighter; Nathan, wizard. "Let's go, good-bye, farewell". Heath The Missing Football Boys The coach went to the I field to meet the boys for practice, which was quite normal because he went to the field every Wednesday. But today was different because the boys weren't there but strangely their shoes were and in the positions that they always play. The quarterback's shoes were where the quarterback stands. The forwards were where they normally stand. "This is weird" said the coach "they are always here on Wednesday, they have to be dying to not be able to come to football".
