WAIMARINO COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at the Special Full Council Meeting of the Waimarino County Council held on the 10th day of November 1 987, it was resolved by way of Special Order to raise a loan of $280,000.00 for a period of twenty (20) years to be known as the Rangataua Sewerage Disposal Scheme Loan No. 1 1988 of $280,000.00 for the purpose of constructing a sewerage scheme to the following areas within the Township of Rangataua. All rateable land in the Rangataua Township described as follows; Sections 1 to 5 BLK I, All sections in Block II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, Sections 1 to 4 and DP 3127 BLK VIII, Sections 1 to 4 BLK IX, Sections 1 to 7 BLK X and Sections 1 to 6 BLK XI. The land on the north side of Nei Street adjoining the Railway Line. The Security will be a special rate of such amount each year on the land value of all rateable land as defined above as is sufficient to provide in that year for the payment of the Annual Charges in respect of the loan plus 10% thereof until the loan is paid off. Any such special rate shall be deemed not to have been made upon the land value of any rateable property in respect of which the right to make an election under Section 164E of the Local Government Act 1974 to pay a lump sum contribution has been exercised by any Ratepayer in respect of the work for which the special loan is to be raised. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a poll of ratepayers is required to be undertaken in respect of the loan if 15% or more of the ratepayers of the district so demand in writing delivered or sent by post to the Waimarino County Council and received at the Administration Centre, P O Box 74, Raetihi or Duncan Street, Raetihi not later than 9.00am on December 22nd 1987.
