Summer basketball

Summer league basketball's match of the week was between 'Elite Tees' and 'Elite Macs'. In the first half, the pressure was on the Taitumas and Reagan Sue, from the blow of the whistle. Annette, Hamish, and Pop McDonnell worked excellent combinations with their two new members, Tracey paul and Waipari Proebstel, to get through

'Elite Tees' defence. The half-time score was 23-17 to 'Elite Macs'. The second half saw Elite Tees have a come-back, with the fast breaks of Reagan Sue and Dennis Taituma, the pressure was reverssed. The 'Tees' practically put a full court "man to man" press on the 'macs' and managed to just beat them. Final score was 'Elite Macs' 45 - 'Elite Tees' 49.
