Exclusive Wheels

PRODUCING exclusive alloy wheels for limited edition cars has become a speciality of Cheviot Pacific Ltd. The latest example is the new Holden Commodore GTS which features a new Cheviot manufactured alloy wheel available only on this car. Although General Motors is to build just 300 of this special model, Cheviot Pacific was able to product a limited run of wheels and still make the project viable. And Cheviot Pacific believes this type of business will grow, as manufacturers increasingly turn to limited edition models. "Our ability to offer an

exclusive design and production facility for small numbers of alloy wheels is a great advantage," says Mr Chris Talbot, Marketing Manager of Cheviot Pacific Ltd. "It widens the options available to car manufacturers when they come to drawing up the specifications for a limited edition model." The Commodore GTS wheel is a five-spoke, aggressive, directional design which was chosen specially to suit the sporty image of the new Holden. The wheel has a machined finish which is then given a clear coated lacquer spray to protect it from road grime and make it easier to clean.
