The Central King Country Visual Arts Awards committee is chaired by Mr Tom Wells of Owhango. The rest of the committee is: Peter Casey, deputy chairman, Michael Turner, secretary, Keith Chapple, Rod Murray, Alan Horsley, Marea Page and Margaret Scott. Advisory consultants are: Ron Cooke, Robert Hall and John Coulson. The major sponsor is the Taumarunui Winter Show Trust which is sponsoring the $5,000 premier award.
