Bowls
A team effort by members of Ohakune ladies' bowls team won them the match and the coveted Pluck Cup against Hunterville last week. Ohakune ladies A. Nation (Skip), V. Brown (3), N. Hays (2) and B. Hammond (lead) played R. Stewart (Skip), J. Flintoff (3), E. Goodwin (2) and D. Hales (lead) in brilliant conditions last Thursday. Hunterville played well with some masterful bowls to their credit, but Ohakune had the skill and luck on their side and won convincingly 29-7. Ohakune's next challenge is from Raetihi on Wednesday 18 November.
