Police are investigating the burglary of a ski chalet in Raetihi that occurred sometime during the last few weeks. A large number of household items were removed. ★ ★★ Electricorp sub-station at Tangiwai was the target of burglars for the second time this year - the
offenders forced their way into the building and ransacked offices. The burglary was thought to have occurred sometime on Wednesday. Police enquiries are continuing. ★ ★★ A spate of burglaries occurred in Raetihi over the weekend. Police Constable John Robinson is investigating a number of break-
ins and counts of vandalism overnight Saturday. The Waimarino Squash Club and two houses in Duncan and Queen Streets were burgled, while Dekker Machinery and the Waimarino Club in Seddon Street had windows smashed. ★ ★★
