'Power' radio

The Palmerston North radio station 92.2XSFM is back on full strength after a break of about 8 months. This now means not only people near Palmerston North get XSFM booming through but also people in Ohakune and Raetihi. XSFM hasn't been able to send out a full signal due to a lightning strike on their transmitter at Wharite earlier this year. Due to a series of extra complications they have been forced to run at nearly half power. Flowever, it is now all fixed and XSFM is now claiming to be the 'power station' in the region.
