Student interviews student

As part of Ruapehu College's work exploration week for fourth formers, student Justin King decided he would like to work at Turoa Ski Hire. To get the job he phoned ski hire manager Ron Burrows. Although Ron was reluctant at first, when Justin told him he didn't have to be paid, Ron said yes. He worked from 12 to 16 October. Justin said that even though the weather was lousy he still enjoyed it very much and said it was a good experience. He got a job at Turoa Ski Hire because he wanted to learn how to look after ski equipment, learn what it's like to go out by himself, and to get a week off school. Because he was new there and he didn't know much about the job he said the people he worked with were patient and understanding. Maro Vincent Ruapehu College work exploration student
