Several pairs of skis were stolen from roof racks on various cars parked in Railway Row, Ohakune overnight Friday. A thief with discerning taste removed a pair of very expensive skis from outside the Alpine Cafeteria at Turoa Skifields, at midday on Sunday. Police enquiries are continuing. ★ ★★ Money and clothing was stolen from a house in Conway Street, Ohakune sometime on Saturday. ★ ★★ Two Raetihi youths were disturbed while in the act of committing a burglary of a Grey Street house over
the weekend. The offenders, who made off, were later located and police enquiries are continuing into the matter. ★ ★★ Ruapehu Motors' car tow service was called into ac-
tion yesterday afternoon when a car rolled while on the Ohakune Mountain Road. The driver of the vehicle, from Levin, was uninjured in the accident. One side of the vehicle was extensively damaged.
