Turoa Tumblers

Three junior boys competed at the Junior Nation - al Champs in Tauranga on 3 and 4 October. Rhys Langdon was placed 16th out of a field of 54 competitors in Grade 8 and was 4th on floor - a very good result for his first Nationals. Shaun McLean carried on his excellent work this season by coming first equal on floor, and second equal on vault and ending up third overall out of 43 competitors - a well deserved placing. Warwick Hays had a consistent competition with a high on pommels which gave him fourth place, his position overall was 14th out of 33 competitors. All the boys had a successful Nationals.
