A man is in a serious condition in Wellington Hospital after he was blown off the back of a truck in Raetihi last Friday night. Raetihi Police Constable Robinson attended the accident near the Raetihi Swimming Baths on State Highway Four. On Saturday a local male youth was arrested after an incident outside the Ohakune Hotel. He is to appear in the district court in October on a charge of disorderly behaviour. ★ ★★ Early on Sunday morning two female occupants of a car travelling north were involved in an accident at the intersection of Valley and Tohunga Roads. The motor vehicle was" extensively damaged but the occupants received only minor injuries.
