Two local 'yo-yos', Nobby Clark and Paul Beckett jumped off the centre span of the Hapuwhenua Viaduct on Sunday and survived! Thanks to being tied to the bridge by a large elastic rope (bungee), the jumpers stopped short of the ground and bounced almost back up to the bridge deck, to the delight of the many spectators.
