Familiar face seen on television

A face familiar to Waimarino readers and viewers will have been seen on television recently but not everyone would have recognised who it was. Former QEII War Memorial Museum director Major Gordon Stevenson

was usually seen in Waiouru and the Waimarino in uniform before he retired ( two years ago. He is now living in Auckland and was being interviewed by TV about the 'Safe House' scheme for — which he is responsible on the North Shore of the Queen City.
