ARMY REUNION

Plans are under way for a reunion of the New Zealand Army's Regular Force Cadet intake of 1962. Reunion organiser, Major Bruce Smith, of Burnham Military Camp, says that 108 young men marched into Waiouru 25 years ago. Of that number 11 are still serving in the Army. The get-together anniversary is planned for Thursday, December 10 to Saturday, December 12, 1987. The group is to meet in Waiouru on the Thursday morning and later watch this year's Regular Force Cadet graduation parade. Other activities are also planned, including happy hours, a buffet and a sightseeing trip. Major Smith wants to hear from Gentry Class graduates. They can write for further information and to register for the reunion by phoning him on Christchurch 478-011 ext 720, or by letter to 3 Field Workshop, Burnham Military Camp.
