Magna Wagon For New Zealand

The Mitsubishi Magna Wagon, designed and engineered in Australia for Australasian conditions, is to be sold in New Zealand by Mitsubishi Motors dealers. Magna wagons are expected to build on the Car of the Year reputation won by the Magna Sedan in the Aus-

tralian market. Magna is the Australian engineered version of the top selling Sigma car. Designed to compete head on with Commodore and Falcon wagons, the Magna Wagon is bigger in most internal dimensions

than Commodore and its handling is considered by Australian journalists to be well advanced on the Falcon. Quiet ride and excellent finish are features of the Magna according to commentators. Magna wagons will be powered by a 2.6 litre

Astron engine, will be available with either five speed manual or four speed auto transmission and will have power steering as standard. The first vehicles are expected in Mitsubishi dealers' showrooms late September.
