RAETIHI CHILLS OFF COMMITTEE UNDETERRED

The Waimarino Chills Off committee remain undefeated despite the recent cancellation of their latest fund-raising venture - a fancy dress Titanic' social

night at the Ohakune Club Inc. Free tickets to the event were won by Lor-. raine Taylor of Ohakune, who donated the cheque for their value back to the committee. The committee's goal of $120,000, the cost of enclosing the Raetihi swimming baths is still far from being a reality but on-go-ing raffles progressively add to the total. Future fund-raising activities suggested by committee members for the next 6 months include a swim carnival, team swim competition, cabaret and further raffles, as well as a market day at the Raetihi Skating Rink on 29 November.
