section were Don Windle 27 holes nett winning the Byford Trophy with 89, runner-up Ces Allerby on toss from Ali Robinson, 18 holes nett winner was' Ron Sisson of Taihape 68, 9 holes nett winner was Glenn Ennis 21.5, 9 holes gross G. Allerby and D. Windle 29. 27 holes gross. won by James Ennis, run-ner-up P. Goldfinch on toss from T. Tapp. Results Sunday 30/8/87 Seniors P. Goldfinch 38, G. Imhoff 37, J. Summerhays 35.

Juniors Nathan Donghi 41, Colin Allerby 40, Fred Bright 39, B. Clement and Ali Robinson 38. One two was scored on a nominated hole, this was by Colin Turner on No. 17.
