Some 85 artists have submitted a total of about 150 paintings and drawings in a range of media - oil, water colour, pastel, pcn and ink, pencil etc. Prize money this year exceeds $5,000 with a premier award of $2,000. An exhibition of all works submitted will be open to the public in the upstairs lounge of the Ohakune Club from next Monday until noon on Saturday 12 September.
