TONGARIRO NATIONAL PARK MANAGEMENT PLAN REVIEW Following approval by the Tongariro-Taupo National Parks and Reserves Board, the Regional Manager, Department of Conservation, Hamilton, hereby gives notice pursuant to section 47(2) (a) of the National Parks Act 1980 that the draft Tongariro National Park Management Plan is now available for public inspection. The Regional Manager invites all interested organisations and individuals to make written suggestions or provide comment which will assist the Board in assessing the draft and preparing the final plan. The management plan is in five sections, each a separate document. They can be inspected at the department's regional offices as well as at Central Office and district office in Wellington, or at the department's offices at Turangi, Taupo, Mount Ruapehu and Ohakune. Copies of all sections can be purchased from any of the department's offices at Turangi, Hamilton, and Wellington, (district office). Suggestions or comments should be forwarded by 30 October 1987 to: The District Conservator, Department of Conservation, P O Box 237 Turangi. Persons or organisations who wish to be heard in support of their submission should make this known in their submission. This is the second publication of this notice.
