Police search for harasser

Ohakune Police are investigating the separate incidents of harassment of teenage girls that occurred on Sunday evening. Two young women were harassed in Jubilee Park at around 6pm, followed by another incident shortly after in the vicinity of the Council Chambers in Miro Street, Ohakune. The offender made off when a passing motorist intervened.

Ohakune Police are on the lookout for a male European, aged between 30-40 years, tall - around 6ft with curly sandy hair and wearing glasses. He was seen driving a red vehicle, make unknown, with a large black dog in the back seat. Anyone with information or knowledge of the man's whereabouts should contact the Ohakune Police Station immediately.
