News of the Great Ohakune Snow Dance held last Wednesday will have reached all four corners of the globe by now. Ma hat ma Coate and Maharishi Guru (above) were among prizewinners on the night for their act, as well as "Sly and the Ski Family" with Loyd Solley (top right) and Bill Abong and the Did Jerry Does? (one caught in the act at right). The official Mayor of Ohakune Junction Mike Wiggins was MC for the night. At time of going to press snow was forecast and, with the effort put into the snow dance any falling within the next six months can undoubtedly be attributed to the event!
