Wanganui Arts Festival planned
Plans for "ARTS '87", the Wanganui and District Arts Festival are now well under way. This is a "first" for Wanganui and a great opportunity for artists, craftspeople, groups and performers
to present to the public what they make or do. The performance programme is virtually complete, but the Festival committee would like to hear from any artist or craftsperson in the region who has not yet been con-
tacted but who would like to take part. The festival will be held on 30 and 31 October and 1 November. Anyone interested should contact Barrie McLean, 36 Caius Avenue, Wanganui, phone 58-380, for details as soon as possible.
