Results of play on Sunday 16 August. The day's sponsers were Cedar Tyres and Lilburn Transport.
The main event of the day was the first round of the club championships, which had brilliantly fine weather. The results of the Stableford Competition for the seniors were: C.Turner 40 points, G.Allerby, T.Tapp and B. Drinkwater all with 39 points, D.Windle 36, S.Magee 35. In the junior division: A.R. Brown 41 points, N.Clarke 40, K.McDougall 37, T.Donghi 35, B.Clements 35. Twos were scored by A.Berridge 3, D.Windle 17. The zone teams played Waiouru at Ruapehu and won by 3.5, to 2.5.
