FACING UP Time to choose

The Elections have been and gone. All the activity is over. We've made our choice and people have been elected. We now have to get on with living according to the consequences of that decision. Life is a series of decisions, from morning to night, from the cradle to the grave. These decision we make shape our lives on this earth. Where we live, work or retire. When we leave school and who we marry. There is of course a far greater, far more reaching decision to make. The decision between heaven and hell, between life and death, God and self. This

decision goes beyond the grave and shapes our life here and on to eternity. The Bible says that God has put before a choice, life or death, blessing or curse, what will you choose, the Bible says choose life. Here are five steps to choosing life. 1. Acknowledge you are a sinner and separated from God. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23. 2. Recognize that God has done something about the situation. John 3:16. 3. Receive Jesus Christ as Saviour. John 1:12. 4. Confess and get rid of all sin. 1 John 1:9. 5. Confess Jesus as Lord and Saviour. romans 10:9.10.
