Ohakune police are investigating the burglary of Cedar Service Station in Clyde St, Ohakune overnight Sunday. A car radio cassette player, speaker, petty cash, batteries, cigarettes and lighters were taken in the incident. ★★★
Last Thursday, Ohakune police apprehended a 14 year old local girl for the theft of clothes from a clothesline last week in the township. _ The stolen property was recovered and returned to its rightful owner. Police attended a two car collision last Tuesday afternoon, at the intersection of Ayr St and State Highway 49A, also known as 'Parkland's Corner'. No injury resulted, but it was necessary to tow both vehicles from the scene of the accident. ★ ★★ A man returning to his vehicle which left the road on SH49 near Rangataua late last Sunday night,
found someone had stolen three pair of skis from the roof rack of the vehicle. Enquiries are continuing. ★ ★★ Police are investigating the theft of an indoor basketball from the community gymnasium at Ruapehu College.
