KID'S STUFF A man was going for a walk in the bush when a monster jumped at him and ripped his arm off. The man yelled for help but noone heard him. He started to run, the monster could only slither across the grass. When the man got into town the monster looked at the cars then it ran away. The next day the man got up and looked out the window. It jumped onto the man. The man's little boy heard the noise and went to his dad's room to find his dad ripped apart, the boy was terrified. He called the police, when they got to the boy's house the body was nowhere to be found.

I was going to my friend's place and I fell into a hole and I saw some creatures and I ran and I saw a ladder and then they saw one and I quickly got up and I put a rock on the hole.

It was just a boring old Sunday and every thing went wrong. I found a box, it was red with blue stripes and it said outerspace. I pressed the button and nothing happened. I had to study this box so I took it home and I told my friend turtle. I called him on our secret walkie-talkie and he came over right away. "I found this do you know what it is?" "No but 1*11 analyse it on my computer"

"What button did you press?" "Outerspace" "Did you have both hands on it?" "No, why?" "Let's try it together." We pressed the button suddenly we were in outerspace but something happened, something vas pulling me, it was a time warp. We saw something gouley but we couldn't quite see it. "Do you know what that was?" "No" Suddenly we were back on earth only in a different time.

The Old House One wet day when I was walking home from school swinging my bag behind my back I came across a line. It led to a big rock that was standing in front on an old house. I walked up to the house slowly. I walked up the steps and rang the door bell. Nobody answered. I put my hand on the doorknob and I turned it. The door opened wide I walked in. The door slammed I walked down the hall shivering. I walked into the first room there were two beds and an old wardrobe. I looked in the wardrobe but there was nothing but old bent coat hangers. I walked out of the room but when I closed the door I felt something scratching at my legs. I turned around it

was a cat. I screamed and started to run. I ran to the window and tried breaking it but it wouldn't break so I slammed the door on the cat. He started to put his paws under the door, he started scratching at the carpet. I found some sharp bits of steel. I started to bang the window, at last it broke and I jumped and started running down the street. It was dark and I couldn't even find our house.

My First Night at Karate My first night at karate was boring, I was shy. I was glad we weren't going straight on with some techniques, we just went on with a few exercises. I was a new student. When we finished two brown belt's took me and few more other people through some techniques while the rest went outside to do some techniques with their higher leader. When I had learnt a lot of the things they were trying to teach us, the rest came in and then we all did some techniques together, after that we sat down and' had a long talk, after that we sung a few songs and then went home. A couple of week's later it was time for my grading. It was hard but fun. I was going for my yellow. All the white belts had to work hard for their yellow belt, because we had to have a coloured belt before we went to Auckland.

My grading was hard but as I say fun. I was terrified because I thought I was going to fail. All the techniques we went through were easy, but it was only the last thing, it was hard, it nearly killed me. The stick was the thing that killed me, I didn't know it was going to be a hard hit until the first one, every time I knew he was going to hit me I stiffened my body. I was really glad to finish that night, even though I did finish it felt as though I was just starting.

The Day That Changed My Life It was July 22nd 1884. Mum called me inside and told me to go and get some milk and check the P.O. box. She gave me the key to the P.O. box. I put my shoes on and started down the road. I turned the corner and went through the dairy's door. I got the milk quietly because I knew the bottles may clatter. I ran all the way up to the Post Office. I took the keys out of my pocket and put them in the keyhole. There were three letters in the box. I took them and closed the box. It took me ten minutes to get home. When I got home I gave the letters to mum and put the milk on the table. "Thanks" said mum as I sat down because I was puffed. Mum called out to dad and said she had the letters. Dad walked in the door and

mum gave him the letters. Dad read the letter to himself. When he had finished reading it he had a smile on his face. The smile grew bigger and bigger and then he started jumping up and down all over the place. "You'd be good as an acrobat in a circus," said Mum. But dad didn't care what mum said. In fact I don't think he even listened to mum. He stopped and told us what the letter said. We had just won $72,000,000. So that night Mum and Dad rang up all their friends and got gallons of beer. There was all sorts of cakes and biscuits to fill a person's dreams. The next morning Mum went to town and bought millions of dresses, shoes, food, drinks, hats and a lot more. One thing dad built was a shop, a dairy shop and that's just what changed my life a lot. We also got a new wonderful house and a car of course.

Horse Ridmg Valmai and I went riding, she rode Robby dee and I rode Sultan, which are both funny horses. When we were riding up the bush Sultan suddenly bolted on me. It was scary, Valmai was laughing her head off. Suddenly he started going straight for a fence, man, I was scared. When he-got really close to it he swerved and threw me into the barbed wire fence. Ouch! Valmai came

over and asked if I was alright. "Yeh" I said "except for my ripped pants". Valmai went and caught my horse for me and we u/Ptil Hrtmp

The Super Day Dad told me that we were going up the mountain to ski. "Now you better go to bed" so I went quietly up to my bedroom. I got dressed and I got into bed. It was dark and the bed was warm and soft. The sides were curled up on me. I moved my head to the side and turned my electric blanket off. Before I closed my eyes I saw the full moon and the stars glittering like diamonds in the sky. I was awoken the next morning by the birds in the trees. I opened my eyes wide and looked out the window. The sun was shining bright. Oh goodie, skiine.
