Monsters When we came to a cave we went in and saw a monster and it looked scary and monsterish and he just about got me and he climbed up the cave and he fell down on his head and he grabbed the cave and I was outside hiding in another cave. It was a friendly monster's cave because I have been to it before and the monster changed from a good monster to a bad monster. Richard Space Once upon a time there was a big big space ship. It was called Battle Star Galactica and then bad guys attacked and the good guys loaded up the big guns and shot the big bullets at the bad guys. One bullet hit the motor of a bad guy and they went back to the big space ship and it was night time. They got up and went to get in the little rocket and pushed the red button. Whoosh, the rockets shot out of the door and went in to space. Wayne Tarantula Tarantula jumped on to the floor right where Carina and Amanda and I were standing and then Carina saw the tarantula. She screamed and Amanda and I heard Carina's scream. We went and killed the tarantula. Megan The Magic Stone Once upon a time I had a magic moon stone and I

didn't have a mother and father because Mum and Dad went out and got some wood and got eaten up by a big monster and I cried and went home to Grandma and I got my magic moon stone and stopped crying and called my Princess and flew up and found the monster and then we killed the monster with my magic sword and Mum and Dad came back. Naomi The Movies We went to the movie show and we got some chippies and some lollies. Sarah Descriptive When I walked on the grass the frost crunched under my feet. The tree is swaying in the wind and the fog is settling in the valley. The sun is rising over the hill and cars are zooming up and down the road. Water is dripping off the roof. The fire is blazing like a dragon blowing fire and I can hear voices all over the classroom. The computer is going in the background. When the white people came to this land the people used Totara trees for making fence posts. Totara trees were sacred to the Maori, they used it for making carvings. The carvings were put up at the front of the meeting house. Totara trees are good for making carvings. They are easy to make if you know how. Carla The Doctor On Monday Mum found out I. had a cough, so Mum made an appointment for 4 O'clock, so we , got ready and went to town. First we went to Bucks then we went to the bank, then we went to the supermarket. Then we went to Mrs Doble's shop. We staycd awhile then we went to the doctor but it was full and we went back to Mrs Doble's shop. Timothy The Weekend In the weekend we got wood. We drove to the back of the farm. We took our lunch.
