RAETIHI BORQUGH COUNQH ESTIMATES PURSUANT to Section 121 (3) of the Local Government Act 1974, Public Notice is hereby given that the estimates of Income and Expenditure for the year ending 31st March 1988 have been considered and approved by the Councii and are available for inspection during normal office hours, at the Administration Centre, 22 Duncan Street, Raetihi. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY RATES PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Government Act 1974, the Rating Act 1967 and any subsequent amendments or Acts, that the Raetihi Borough Councii intends at a meeting of Councii to be held on Monday 27 July 1987 in the Waimarino County Councii Chambers, 102 Seddon Street, Raetihi at 7.30pm to make levy the undermentioned Consolidated Rate, Special Rates and Charges for the year ending 31st March 1988. FIRSTLY: A Consolidated rate of 6.8207 cents in the dollar (six, point, eight, two, zero, seven) on the land value of all rateable property in the Borough of Raetihi and the Consolidated Rates shail comprise: (i) General Rate 4.6043 cents in the dollar (ii) Recreation Rate 0.4063 cents in the dollar (iii) Water supply loan Rate 0.0796 cents in the dollar (iv) Sewerage Loans & Stormwater Rate 1 .2526 cents in the dollar (v) Health Rate 0.1270 cents in the dollar (vii) Lighting Rate 0.2624 cents in the dollar (viii) United Councii Rate 0.0885 cents in the dollar SECONDLY: Rangitikei Wanganui Catchment Board Administration Rate of 0.2529 (zero, point, two, five, two, nine) of a cent in the dollar, on behalf of the Borough, pursuant to the provisions of the Soil Conservation and RiverControl Act 1941 upon the land value of all rateable properties within the Borough of Raetihi. The Cadet would be involved in all aspects of the Board's activities including design of underground reticulation for subdivisions, drawing of survey plans for overhead line extensions, operation and maintenance of light and heavy currerit equipment which includes a UHF and a VHF radio system and three computers. Applicants should have a reasonable pass in School Certificate and preference will be given to applicants holding University Entrance. The successful applicant would be expected to undertake the studies to obtain the New Zealand Certificate in Engineering (Electrical). For a suitable Cadet, the Board would give leave on pay and pay the costs of attendance at the three 13 week Block Courses at the Central Institute of Technology in Wellington to help in qualifying for this Engineering Certificate. The position is in Taumarunui but assistance would be given with accommodation costs for a person from outside the district.
