Waimarino Golf

The event held at the Waimarino Golf Club on Sunday 28 was the President's team v the Captain's team, won by the Captain's team 8 games to 4. President Terry Geraghty, graciously presented the shield to Captain Arthur Berridge who received it with delight after being thoroughly beaten by Terry in their individual match. The sponsors for the day were Junction Ski Shop and Vanity Fair and their contribution, gratefully received, was put to good use by the successful golfers of the day. They were: Seniors T. The Club Pennant Team to play at Linton next Sunday will be: J. Ennis, D. Windle, T. Tapp, S. Magee, J. Summerhays, P. Goldfinch.
