Skiing on Friday
Turoa Skifields plan to open this Friday after heavy falls of snow yesterday. They hope to have the Alpine Meadow platters and all chairlifts operating with trails groomed down to midstation on the Giant Chairlift. Turoa Skifields' Andy Chapman said more snow was expected before the weekend. No sign of the "greenhouse" yet!
