I am going to wear a dress. I wore a red dress. Leilana Soccer I played soccer. We had oranges at half time then we went back to play soccer. I was in goalie. It was cold. We played three games of soccer. It was good. Sarah I watched on TV the Flintstones. I like the Flintstones because it has Fred in it. That's why I like the Flintstones. James I went to the beach and played in the sand. I felt happy. Genvrta I shifted to my new house. It was all confusing and the shifting man put me in a box, on the truck. The sun is so sweet, as the birds sing, tweet tweet! The wind blows the clouds around and around The sun shines down and dries up the ground The leaves scatter This is an important matter The world Lana m Mum thinks I'm tidying my room, But I'm Crackers my favourite winged unicorn soaring through the air.
I'm a unicorn saving my land. I'm watching all my favourite programmes while ealing hot custard. Mum thinks I'm going to school. But I'm winning all the money I can. I'm buying my favourite teddy bear. I'm buying Cadbury, Quick and Watties. I'm buying Disneyland, Heritage Park and Rainbows End. I'm on a boat in the middle of the Indian Ocean surrounded by friendly dolphins. I'm in a magic maze. Mum thinks I'm at school working but I'm playing tricks on the type of people who kidnap kids for money. Kim The Snail Race This morning we borrowed 3 snails and watched as they had a race. This is what we saw, their eyes on stars and their
eyes were moving and their silvery trail. When we touch them they go inside their shells. Sean Daydreams Mum thinks I'm making my bed,
But, I'm far above the clouds, On a winged horse. I'm riding on a unicorn, And bouncing in the clouds. I'm riding on a dragon, And clouds are rushing past. And I'm soaring through the waves, On a big blue dolphin. Mum thinks I'm doing the dishes, But no, I'm playing with dogs, And lions and birds. I'm shooting through the clouds, On a giant eagle. And I'm tossing up a ball And playing with the seals. I'm looking after a unicorn herd, And watching winged horses sail Through the night.
How Baboons got a Skinned bottom and a flat face Once upon a time there was a young girl called Stargazer. The reason she was called Stargazer was that at night she always looked at the stars above her. She was not like you or me because she did not go to school. She did not go to school because she had no-one to tell her to do so. She did not know
very much. She could only add up such few things and spell her own name. One night when she was gazing up at the stars she heard a frightening sound. It was not an owl or any other animal of the forest because she knew all their sounds. The sound that she heard sort of we nt, "chee chee". What could it be? She did not know, until the something poked his head through a window of her tree house. It was a monkey. "What are ycu doing here? This is a forest not the jungle!" Stargazer said. "Chee chee", replied the monkey. Days went by and Stargazer got to like the monkey. "I think I'll call you Baboon." One day they went to the river for a swim. But on the way Baboon slipped over and scraped a little bit of skin off his bottom and made it red. But while he was sitting, he didn't see the loose branch ahead. "Look out!" screamed Stargazer. But it was too late, the branch came down and squashed his face. "Ouch", he said, "that hurt." They both laughed. They quite forgot about baboon's skinned bottom and flat face and of course their swim. So from that day on, Baboons always have skinned bottoms and flat
