Trust building burgled

A large quantity of hardware and cash was stolen from the Whakangahau Trust building in Seddon Street, Raetihi last week. A sewing machine, typewriter, electric drill, transistor radio, three hammers, calculator and two pair of new jeans were

removed in the break-in. Stamps, petty cash and table tennis funds were also removed, the total cost of stolen property estimated at about $900. Offenders forced entry into the Centre through a back entrance. Police enquiries are continuing.
