Video review

"Warning Sign" from Twentieth Century Fox is a science fiction thriller with a story line that is quite believable in our time on this planet. The story is about a research facility that is on the outside an innocent agricultural laboratory supposedly experimenting with and developing a new breed of fast growing corn, but on the inside is a top secret project to create an awesome biological weapon that turns all exposed to it into psychotic killers. The action includes violence of the American kind. The story line revolves around Joanie, played by Kathleen Quinlan, the Security Person on duty at the time of contamination, and therefore responsible for the immediate sealing off of the fortess-like facility, quarantining all inside with the deadly contagion. The employees on the inside keep you on your

toes with their contamination reactions and struggles to survive, the Government Officials, led by U.S. Major Connolly, played by Yaphet Kotto, on the outside try to cover-up at all costs, while the Sheriff, played by Sam Waterston, is torn between keeping his town cairn and rescuing his wife Joanie. The movie is a mild thriller, worth the 95 minutes.
