Lot 18 goes under the auctioneer's hammer at yesterday's sale of 28 Polled Hereford stud bulls bred by Pat O'Neill, 'Okahu', Raetihi. The 28 rising 2-year olds sold on average for $1,900, which Mr O'Neill termed as "quite satisfactory", but nevertheless down on previous years. 1985 saw an average of $3,000 per bull.
