Actors Wanted
People with talent, wit, original ideas and script-writing ability are desperately needed to combine their talents and form a dramatic society in the Waimarino. Drama enthusiast Catherine Dodd, along with a handful of local people who have had previous acting experience are enthusiastic about the idea of forming a group. "We need people who are willing to put forward time and effort and mostly who are ENTHUSIASTIC" said Catherine. If there are enough people interested, there is a possibility of staging a production at the end of the year, although nothing is planned before then because of the fast approaching ski season. Aspiring actors and actresses are urged to contact Catherine Dodd at the Ruapehu Information Centre or Julie Grantham at the Waimarino Bulletin.
